How is a base jump different from a parachuting? You deploy a parachute with both. I want someone to base jump with a really strong umbrella. Like in Tom and Jerry.

I meant that climbing back down would be worse than basejumping.

I'm with him. I was getting antsy just trying to watch this thanks to the quality of current GoPro cameras.

I think parachuting in Shanghai would get you noticed and the authorities would not be as lenient as some countries. I got to let my heart rate settle now after watching that

BASE stands for Building Antenna Span and Earth. Back when I used to skydive we climbed about 400' up a 1000' to do a jump but the sound of the electricity in the lowest strobe light scared us off, which is a good thing because we were in no condition to be jumping. lol.

That's fantastic. I thought base stood for a base/station to jump from instead of a plane. You learn something new every day...

Darwinism has a way with people like that. It's only a matter of time.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
