I came across these videos today and thought I'd post them here. The watered down mainstream media footage is nothing compared to this. This captures the sheer brutality and destruction right from the centre in very high quality footage.

Warning, these videos have a few moments of moderate graphic content.

With the country being pretty much split down the middle in Pro/Anti Russian. This is only going to get worse I fear.

Russia's military has given Ukrainian forces in Crimea until dawn on Tuesday to surrender or face an assault, Ukrainian defence sources have said.

I find the Russian anti-gay movement very confusing. Russians and homosexuals have a lot in common, including putting their nose in places where it shouldn't go.

Vladimir Putin is an ex-KGB agent and is "Old school", meaning that imo he does not believe in democracy he believes in the old ways of Russia before it's downfall and switch to democracy. That is why many people who speak out against him end behind bars, that's not how a democracy works, obviously.

This event will not only be a test for the Obama presidency but for all politicians on both sides of the aisle as a whole whether they realize it or not. It's time to stop finger pointing and stand united in a decision on how to deal with this crisis.

If Russia decides to take any part of Ukraine, it'll set the world back 20 years.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin says there is no need to send Russian troops to Ukraine, but the use force remains "a last resort"

Yet...

Warning shots were fired into the air by Russian soldiers attempting to ward off Ukrainian servicemen marching on an airbase base in Crimea.

A dozen Russian soldiers at the Belbek base warned the unarmed Ukrainian men not to approach before firing the warning shots and reportedly threatening to shoot if the men marched any closer towards them.

I know it's a big difference between the two, but this will just increase tensions, especially when the media twists it.
