I picked up mirror edge and the 2 witchers because it got good praise from people here. Also totaled out at $10.

            That sounds like your autobiography.

So far I've got relatively minimal damage but it's only day 2 (3 in about an hour). Picked up State of Decay and Commandos 2. Metal Slug 3 is tempting but I already have it on two other formats I haven't played yet, and I'll get Papers Please if that group vote wins.

I think no matter what I'll end up with more, and cheaper, from GOG's sale this week. I picked up all the Ultimas and all the Leisure Suit Larrys for about 10 bucks total.

I swore I was never going to buy the Company of Heroes 2 DLC at full price (and Sega claimed they would never sell the DLC at a reduced price), and what do you know ... SOMEBODY caved and it wasn't ME !!!

I picked up the 'Victory at Stalingrad' bundle for $6.50, down from it's regular price of $13. The new 'Western Front' armies being released in 2 days may even the score though, with Sega @1 and WT @1, as I doubt I will be able to resist it, even at full price.

Damn you, Sega !!! Damn you and your constant DLC spam of the game I love !!!

If you don't already have it, Dishonored at 5 bucks is an awesome deal.

Probably the best deals I've gotten out of the Steam Sales were Mass Effect 1 & 2, Company of Heroes 1 + all expacs, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. I'd suggest picking up Deus Ex: Human Revolution if it's on sale, really decent game for 5$, same with XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Picked up a few titles worth 5$.

Looks like it's over--I'm not likely to buy on encore day. Post your damages.

I spent about 60 on Steam, and picked up:

                        State of Decay
                        Papers, Please
                        Metro Last Light Complete
                        The Wolf Among Us
                        Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
                        LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Can't Stop Laughing Bundle (Battleblock Theater and Castle Crashers)
                        Company of Heroes 2
                        Avernum Bundle (3 Avernum games)
Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4
                        Far Cry 3-Blood Dragon
                        Shadowrun: Dragonfall
                        Organ Trail: Director's Cut

On GOG.com I used maybe 20-30 in Paypal funds from estate finds sales last month to pick up (for free, essentially):

                        Ultima 1-9
                        Ultima Underworld 1-2
                        Leisure Suit Larry 1-6
Leisure Suit Larry Love for Sail
Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude
                        Wizardry 6 and 7
                        The Chronicles of Riddick complete
                        Icewind Dale II Complete
                        The Temple of Elemental Evil

So I added many weeks of gaming to an already huge backlog for not much cash.

                        Curse you, Gaben!

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
