I'll get Mardi Gras pic in SD that will make mouth water. Hopefully they will be willing to go for it! I'll black out anything unappropiate for the younger crowd here.

Oh, I so want to make it down to NO for Mardi Gras one year.

We have our fair share of festivals here in Montreal, Just for Laughs, JazzFest, ... , but no Mardi Gras.

        Have a good time!
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.

mardi gras is alot of fun for tourist and locals, also depends what areas of new orleans you go in. what alot of people dont' know is that mardi gras is kidna more than one day... celebrations started last weekend... parades everyday until tuesday where there are all day parades and all night. i might hit up some parades tonight if i get over my cold, so ill bring my camera. not going anywhere near bourbon street though, its gonna be anarchy.

funny thing is, i feel jazzfest isn't as "jazzy" as it used to be. getting more and more "popish" people... which isn't technically a bad thing but i would like to see jazzfest stick to its roots. arrow man you come down here so often... why the hell don't you move here?! lol and for the uninformed... no we aren't underwater still

I've never been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, but I went to the Virginia Tech vs. Auburn Sugar Bowl a couple years ago and Bourbon was a madhouse with all the people added to the fans.
I never will forget the sights and sounds of that road

Ever hear of Carnival ???? It's a small party in Brazil. It's the same celebration as Mardi Gras different name.

I think a few days in Rio would change your opinion
