Can anyone here or a friend read Japanese??

If I can find my Kanji book I could probably translate them. You need to know the stroke count when looking up characters.
I will look around a see if I can find it. I may have lent it to a friend.

If you do it yourself it helps if you know the stroke count for each character. If you are looking for a specific kanji and you know it is a three stroke character you can look at just those. Kanji can have anywhere from one stroke to 29 strokes. For example the kanji for very many is 万. Just looking at it you might think it is a four or five stroke character. It is actually 3 strokes. And when writing kanji you also need to know stroke order. This includes which stroke is drawn first and in which direction the stroke is drawn. And people think writing English is difficult. We have to know 26 letters. Currently there are over 2,000 kanji. First graders have to know 80 kanji. each year has to learn more kanji. Sixth graders have to know over 1000 kanji. Not for the faint of heart.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
