There have been so many trailers/ videos/marketing on this, it's insane! Hell of a dopemine rush, too. Intense, rythmic music while you take on factions.

I started playing this game yesterday and can't stop playing it. I was up past midnight last night, and already my elbow is letting me know it doesn't like me playing FPS games anymore ! It's a serious challenge ... my heart was beating when I went into a bad guy controlled sector and had to fight off about 20 guys including a boss to beat the level. Holy crap that was in intense firefight ! At least I finally have a game to make my Ryzen 5 2600+ work. I haven't even tried MP yet, but I'd prefer to stay off-line until I learn the ropes.

Also, I wanted to point out how seamless the transition from offline to online is with this game. You have side missions you can accept, and you will also periodically have 'Call for backup' alerts that can show up. I had NO IDEA that these were actually online gamers who can issue this alert, so I had an alert near me last night, so I accepted it and the next thing I know I'm helping what was clearly a human player out of a messy situation.

The game does transition through a loading screen once this happens, and I wasn't sure what was up until I noticed his movement was very different than any bot. It's a very interesting way of introducing you to the online environment, but it was very late for me, and although I wanted to help this guy out at the time, I wasn't going to stay up past 12 again to hang out with him. I started heading away from him and within a minute was booted from his 'squad'.

I was trying to unload the coupon for this game when I first got it, equating it to a game like Watch Dogs that I hated immediately. I was quite wrong, and its given me a new game with a lot of graphics appeal to show off to friends. I can continue my grind offline unless I feel like dabbling with some online play by accepting the 'Call for backup' requests, and I'm hoping to find some more CLRs that play this game. I always avoid the AAA titles like CoD and BF when they first launch, so this is rare air for me, but so far I am having fun playing this game.

I came into possession of a code for Division 2 if any CLR regulars are interested. None of my friends have any time to play it, so I'm putting it up for grabs here if anyone feels they would like to play. I've progressed to level 26 ingame (cap is currently at 30) - leveling is fairly quick in this game. I started playing mid-March, so within a month you can hit the current cap.

I mean I wont turn it down. I do have lots of friends playing it but I didn't get it b/c oh money issues. If you haven't found someone to wants the key yet, I'd be more than happy with it. I did love the first one a lot until it was being hacked out of it's mind. lol

FD, it appears to be your lucky day ! I will send you a PM shortly detailing how I think this code will work, at least for me to transfer it to you. Only downside to this is that it is not a Steam game, but instead requires Ubisoft's Uplay client to activate and play. I'm no fan of multiple gaming frontends, but for this game I made an exception. I'm currently at level 26 in-game, but I can start a new character and show you the ropes.

Many current players are Div1 vets, and they are enjoying the game. Its much more diverse than Div1, and the audio is amazing ... I recall a sudden thunderstorm that had me seriously spooked as I was both hunting and being hunted in the littered streets of DC, as rain pelted the ground and an occasional lightning strike would light up the immediate area, showing a hulking tank just standing in an alleyway.

I don't get what all the brouhaha is about having several game store launchers.

I downloaded AC:Unity just to see what the game is about. Uplay has nothing running (according to Task Manager) until I start it. Epic has a "GamesLauncher" service that utilizes pretty much nothing until you start the actual Launcher. Steam on the other hand loads several more services on boot comparatively. My Task Manager shows 5 "Steam Client WebHelper" processes alone.

I've read sincere explanations by intelligent people, and I'm still not concerned over multiple launchers. Competition always leads to faster upgrades and better prices.

My own analogy is how people (including me) hated cable TV because most of the packaged channels are worthless. Now, we're in the future. We can selectively subscribe to a cheaper service with fewer shows (Netflix, HBO, CBS, etc.) yet some folks complain that subscribing to all of them costs as much as cable. We can always find reason to complain.
