All gang members who have taken the course will be required to be licensed in the form of a tattoo stating that they have passed the course.

Doing this will prevent future rising prices of ammunition due to missed shots, as well as minimize hospital bills for the innocent injured or killed.

On the downside to this new requirement, this will unfortunately drive up the pricing of personal body armor and black market firearms to make up for the taxes spent on the course.

    Just kidding.

      EDIT
I have no real issues with recreational hunting. I see no point in just shooting to shoot though. We have killed off most of the natural predators to the prey, and to help control the population, controlled recreational hunting is fine. Use the meat, etc etc. Same as clubbing seals.

But shooting for recreation is akin (to me) to driving an SUV. Not something that is necessary, something that can be a danger to others, so if you want to partake, then you pay a higher fee for it.

Meh, just my Canadian bacon opinion.
It has more to do with our second amendment then it does hunting or recreational shooting. It also doesn't matter weather you, or anybody else sees the point in it. There have been attempts to make ammo harder to get as a back door way of limiting gun ownership. In think case I do think that it's a simple case of supply and demand. You gotta love the free market.

I thought you were serious at first. It's no more absurd than the bill passed in Texas recently requiring a criminal to inform his victim that he will be commiting a crime against said victim in advance.

Oh jesus. I'm sure the criminals are really adhering to that law.

That's just about as good as trying to rob a police station.

price goes up because of the war. The projectiles/bulletts are mostly made of the same items, so more of said items are being used to make military grade ammo, which means there is less to use for civ grade ammo.

We are having a shortage at my station. We don't get to practice as much because the military gets the .223 first. We are also running short on .40. probably because all the brass and copper jacketing is going to .223 and .308 for the military.

If you want to save money use a baseball bat instead. It is reusable.

Actually I use a BO and a JO. They are a six foot staff and a 4 foot staff.. But, it takes training and skill to use. Most people think they know how to use a baseball bat.
                        I also like my Katana.

                          I didn't think about that.

Tails and I got to learn the first Bo staff form when we took our marital arts class. But, since our classes didn't exactly focus on the weapons, we didn't progress further than the first form. They're tons of fun to use, though.

The Bo was always one of my favorite weapons. To be able to use it though you have to practice partner drills and use a striking form. It is all about leverage. Up close though a Jo will beat a Bo every time.
