My daughter had a temp of 103 last week so took her to doc and she had it. She had just gotten a flu shot a couple of weeks earlier when she had a physical so it didn't get near as bad as it could have - plus doc gave her Tamiflu, which helped.

Her pediatrician recommended that everyone in family call their doctor and get doctor to prescribe Tamiflu - so we did. No one else in the family has come down with it. Take one pill a day for 5 days to prevent, 2 pills a day to get rid of it. Stuff works great! Doc said you need to start taken it at the onset of symptoms, if you wait more than a couple of days it won't work.

Half of the people at work have it, and I'm not feeling so hot this morning. Should be full-blown sick by the weekend. Great. I hate the flu.

Everyone in my family got the flu shot. So far so good.

We learned the hard way last year.

No one likes my numbers but a recent report said that 44 of the US STates have the flu rampant in it and the vaccine only targeted 40% of the strains.

Every year they have to make a decision, and they chose one but should have chose the other when selecting the vaccine.

I've had it for a week now! 2 of my 3 kids had it. Luckily my wife and oldest haven't gotten it yet and it looks like they won't. They must be immune. my wife and I didn't get the flu shot. But all my kids did.

I didn't get my flu shots. Luckily my flu's nearly gone. I threw up last night, which was painful and disgusting, woke up this morning and ran to the tiolet, nothing came out, but it felt like something was.


So I called in sick today, and I got to tell you, even though I woke up every hour for 5 minutes, having 12 hours of sleep in the middle of a work week is NICE.

Now I feel a bit better, still have the... ahem... backside to worry about


Hopefully within 2 hours that's taken care of because I plan on having a dinner with my old man.

i havent got the flu since 06, that time i caught the flu which then turn into me having pneumonia and had to be hospitalize for 2 weeks. i'll never forget that. so now im a bit more concern about my health.

Last time I got the flu was on my birthday which was about 11 months ago. Wasn't a very good birthday, only because of the flu
