What got you started in the "Combat FPS" games?

Guess I was kinda late coming to the latest generation of FPS's.

Believe it or not, I had 32x. It was so hard to set up because of those little metal springs to hold the door things open. The only game I had for it was the motocross one. And i take back that Goldeneye was my first FPS game. My first was a game for Sega called Zero Tolerance. It was amazing. Did anyone here ever play it?

First FPS: Doom
First Multiplayer FPS: Quake2 (we used to play at work )
First online FPS: CSS followed shortly by BF2. I was late getting into online gaming. I'd say BF2 really got me hooked.

awesome. It was horribly tacky, just this giant thing coming out of the game slot of your normal genesis. :P

I had Virtua Racing Deluxe and Doom. I bought 2 games for that stupid thing

1st ongoing FPS - BF 2142
