I'd recommend a few days (at least) earlier than that.
The first regular season game this year is Sept 6 (Saints vs Colts) so that would give little to no time to fix up rosters and such.
If we were drafting live, then no prob. But with an autodraft, you are never sure who you will end up with. You can sometimes get stuck with some inactives.
So the sooner the better IMO[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
