Will we ever lose interest in video games

....or even Hi Tech Toys when we or if we reach our 70's or 80's?

Could you imagine us retirees spending our Golden years Playing CoD 10? lol

"Many leave their home. Some, for the first time in years." I love that video, minfootball.

Honestly, I think Halo is over-hyped. I've played Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3, and thought there were pretty good games but not these "revolutionary" titles that so many reviewers claim. But, that's all just my opinion. (which often doesn't amount to diddily squat. )

On topic, no, I can't really see myself ever getting away from video games. I'm currently getting a degree in Game & Simulation Programming, so I'll likely end up in the video game realm, or something very similar. It'll be my career until I retire (hopefully) and video games have only advanced over the years, so at this rate, I can't see myself ever losing interest in the field.

                    +1

I'm in the same degree as Tails, and I hope to be in that field until I retire. Seeing how video games have advanced so much in just the past decade, I don't think I'll ever tire of them. With the way technology is growing, I think video games will around for a looong time... if not forever.

I'll probably be gaming somehow but the twitch reflex games will be a thing of the past for me. I already get achy hands sometimes and I've had to turn to camping and treachery in order to get a few kills on you run and gun types.

I tend to step away from gaming completely whenever I'm not seriously dating someone. My PC gets old and never upgraded and my consoles gather dust. It's only when the initial flame of a new romance fades a bit into the humdrum of everyday life that I start playing again. Since my fiance is considerably younger than I am and doesn't smoke, looks like I'll be playing until she buries me.
