Moe,
First of all thanks for sharing such a personal bit of your life. God bless you for being the caring and supportive person you are.
We all come here for different reasons. Mostly to play and forget our everyday lives and because this place is special and the people are very real.
I have found a home here because of all of the great supportive folks here.
With all that you go through on a daily basis, I am glad you found your way here too

My heart goes out to you. My parent are in their mid to late 80's and my Mom has advanced stages of Alzheimer?s.
But thankfully my Dad (like you Moe with love and devotion) stay by her side constantly.
I know it's none of my business but your kids obviously have no respect for the people who brought them into this world, raised them and taught them morals in life.
Moe you are one of the nicest Southerners I know. I wish you and your wife all the best and hope everything works out for you both.
PS: we should get together sometime and I'll give ya some flying lessons in IL21946

I wish you the best and even before you brought up this subject, I had a feeling that you were a special person. I was right in my assumption and you have my deepest respect, without pity. It is my pleasure to be able to say that I am your friend and to know you.

It is situations like this that tell you what kind of person you are. Unfortunately there are to many people that do not care. I am glad to know you Moe.

All too many times have I heard about families doing this to a loved one with this illness and it not only hurts me but angers me. Chances are most of the people who abandon loved ones is because it hurts them and frustrates them so much to see what is happening. But let me tell you SUCK IT UP...it may be hard but there needs to be more people like you Moe. The sick people need all the loved ones they can around them because I know somewhere deep inside they can comprehend that a face that is around day after day is a face of love.

Two of my grandparents died from this disease and it is very hard on the ones who care for them too see them suffering from this disease. Through sickness and in health a part of our wedding vows from the Bible I know Moe God is pleased that you are honoring your part of that vow. My hats of to you. I have been married for 22 years now and I would do it for my wife and I know she would for me.

My grandma had Alzheimers for 18 years, literally my entire life before she died. I'm sure it is far harder for you, but I understand the kind of patience and commitment you must have. You are obviously an amazing person based on what you just told us. I love playing with you because you are always talking and always friendly. It just makes the game so much better. Thanks for playing with us.
