Good short read on a former pilot of the SR-71 Blackbird:

I had the chance to see one of these planes up close on the flight deck of the carrier Intrepid, as it was docked in a harbor in NYC. Quite an impressive plane which was first operational way back in the early 60's !

Nice read...wouldnt that be a breath taking experience I would have to say so myself...and not too often do people get the chance you got you lucky guy :P
