i splashed out replaced both my mechanicals with equal ssds...
spent 5 hours cloning my drives and wow...
OMG I wet myself went it took seconds to boot!

The best thing I ever did to increase the speed of my computers was to add SSD drives.

Most definetly made a difference, simple stuff just loads so much quicker now.
Ah can say one thing i got my worth out of my old mechanicals, and see to be honest they prob aint even 1/4 of their life yet.

Going to hook my old 2TB up and use it to do my pc image too, atm i do it direct to my NAS.
the 1TB I'm going to see if I can't get my NAS to use it for some system stuff, and offload that out of my main data pool
