    Cop Suspended over MySpace Comment

What's really messed up about is that it was a comment that I couldn't figure out what was wrong.

I mean it wasn't a racist comment, or as if he was making a bomb threat or anything, just some random, harmless comment

    http://www.wftv.com/news/15849717/detail.html

He said in the comment: "supertrained killer ninja fighter of the night who has not had a chance to use this special skill yet."

    Huh????

Now I'm afraid of posting pics of me and "hot superhero chicks" at Conventions, a female co-worker or supervisor might say something.

This is getting out of hand, dontcha think?

Well the notches he put on his taser every time he had to use it probably didn't help either, along with "22 other complaints." There's probably more to this story than that little blurb.

In my experience when some one is getting targeted like that there must be somebody who has an issue with him.
Old school or the new, doesn't mean a thing if your heart's not true...

There probably is more to the story but to use this comment for an excuse is silly. When you look at the surface the guys doing the suspending look ridiculous. All other accusations from them will now be questioned in the back of peoples minds.

Having personal experience with how inbred law enforcement can be, I don't take reports of an internal affairs investigation too seriously.

I was subjected to an internal affairs investigation for allegedly calling a female employee "fat" in an email...an email that no one was able to provide because it never existed in the first place. This girl was well-connected through her family and was on the verge of being terminated for her constant absenteeism and incredibly poor work peformance. I was exonerated (after two months of being treated like a criminal), and she had resigned at the beginning of the investigation. On the plus side, I did get a 20% raise to keep me from quitting in disgust.

She came back after I left a year or so later, and based on her connections was able to secure the position of Criminal Analyst...the only one at the department. I sleep better at night knowing that crimes are being analyzed by someone that quit high school because it was, and I quote, "too hard".

However, if the guy is putting notches on his taser then they need to get rid of him anyway.

By notches on his taser, you mean every time he tased someone he marked it down as if it were a kill in a game or something to brag about?
And what the hell Thrash? There is a woman who didnt pass highschool and she is in law enforcement?

Civilian employee. Although HS graduation is not a requirement in many places, you just have to go through the academy.

I can confirm this, but in many places you cant even apply for a position as a file clerk without a degree these days.

If you want the job, then you should be able to get your GED from the Junior College is the way we look at it.
