    Favorite NON-Fiction TV Show

I discovered my NEW favorite NON-fiction show

    The Deadliest Catch

    It rocks!

    #2
    Non-reality...

    Mythbusters
    Dirty Jobs
    Intervention
    Biography Channel
    Last One Standing
    The Ultimate Fighter

Most of the other reality / game show style shows like Survivor, Big Brother, Apprentice, I do not watch. Liked the first season of Survivor when it was fresh, now its too predictable and fake
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

Anything on the History Channel :P And quite a bit on Discovery. Reality TV all sucks :P

I like Last One Standing. Its a sport style reality show on Discovery. 6 or so guys for an entire year go around to world to more remote places to participate in their culture's national sport.

From running through the jungles in Brazil with a tree stump on your back doing a relay race, to stick fighting with the Zulus or even Mongolian wrestling... its pretty interesting as alot of times, they focus on the culture aspect of the villages they are in.

The guys are from different walks of life...from a strong man / weight lifter from the US, a UK kickboxer, a BMX rider from Texas, some fitness guru, a rugby player... nice variety.

The show just wrapped up, but if you catch the reruns, might be fun to watch

Intervention, Dirty Jobs, DEA (Spike TV), the Underground shows that take you on a tour of the city beneath the city, How They Build It, Made n America...

I pretty much cant stand TV unless it is Non-Fiction....

Discovery HD on Comcast is just a rockin channel.
Their HD standard is pretty high quality.

I watched Deadliest Catch on HD last night and I gotta say it was WAYYYYY better than in Standard.

Anyone watch Deadliest Catch? (I think it's narrated by Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs).

Stewart, yes...but every time a politician guest opens their mouth, fiction spews out.

I don't watch much TV, but I can easily get sucked into pretty much anything on History, Discovery, or the Military channel.

Who wants reality? We are gamers and we live in a fantasy world.

Hells Kitchen and The most Xtreme (from animal planet) are probably mine. However I do like quite a lot of game shows like "are you smarter than a fifth grader" and Cash Cab

I really enjoy Deadliest Catch, and yes, it is Mike Rowe. I also really like Ax Men on History, or anything on History for that matter.

I like Mike Rowe...My wife and I watch Dirty Jobs....

On a side note. I'm so glad that I have a DVR when it comes to Discovery channel. Not only do they have commercials but, It's like before a commercial they give you a synopsis of whats going to happen after the commercial and when they come back from a break they give you a synopsis of whats already happened before the commercial break.....Quick 30 second skip is my friend...

Having tried many cases I've given up on expensive ones. Not convinced they are significantly better than an inexpensive gel case for 1/10 the money....
