Parents and Soon to BE parents

Guys, I do not usually post something on such a strong topic (OK I do every chance I get) but if you are or are to be a parent please watch this:

    http://www.yoism.org/media/Frontline...ildren-218.wmv

    Foster kids are LAB RATS

Refresh the page, I edit FREQUENTLY!

HERE Is a GREAT site I found.. I don't know if it is a religion per-say but I totally agree with their stance on the FDC

New evidence keeps emerging that the medical profession has sold its soul in exchange for what can only be described as bribes from the manufacturers of drugs . . . It is long past time for leading medical institutions and professional societies to adopt stronger ground rules to control the noxious influence of industry money on what doctors prescribe for their patients.
Strange and maybe a bit outlandish, and I have not fully explored any links.. just a couple videos...

NBC News The second half of this video is DEAD ON!

I lay before you the REALM of being a parent when it is convenient. The problem in 99 percent of the cases (yes I even did a paper for my wife while she was in college on the subject ADHD in its infancy) .. is the fact that poor parenting leads weak parents into controlling their kids with drugs to make parenting a leisure activity.

The AMA, docotors and the drug companies are obviously interested in one thing...money. This is why I like socialized medicine. It takes the profit motive out.....

ay no to drugs....unless they have your name on it...and come with a safety cap in an orange container...

        Mixed message.

You see- in the 1960s people started to take drugs more liberally. Then these people entered professions. Then they prescribed this crud. Then we all became open /accustomed/acclimated to drugs. You dont believe me? Ask anyone in their 70s what they think about prescriptions- and they all think that someone is trying to kill them and steal their money. They may have a point.

Personally, you have to really get in my grill to get me to take anything. I dont take pain medication, I rarely take aspirin, and despite chronic allergies at certain times of the year, I avoid medicine altogether.

        The result?

I am less healthy physically than I was 4 years ago, kids get in the way of my workout schedule.
BUT the oddest thing of all?

I rarely get sick. Everyone else I know does- and it doesn't make sense. The vitamins, the pills, the drugs, etc.

My theory is that my body is au natural. My body is very strong thanks to the fact that I don't pollute it. In fact, I rarely drink alcohol anymore- not because I dislike it, or some belief system, it's just that my chemistry is so tuned in, that I can feel the changes in it the day after, even if I don't get shammered (joke word for hammered).

Children are so very fragile ecologic systems. I will not allow my kids to be on anti-depressants, ADD medicine, or the like. If they are clucking up your classroom, you can deal with them or call me to deal with them. Novartis is not raising my children, and neither is Genentech.

Some supplements are actually really good for the body. Fish oils do help in a wide variety of areas (brain, heart, immune system)
