He plans on joining ROTC and wants to be a pilot in the AF. He hopes he can qualify for the F22 Raptor but, he knows the odds.

has he already talked to a recruiter, to find out exactly what he needs to be able to do this? Last I heard a private pilots license was more or less a must to be able to secure that position at all.
