For my birthday I'm asking for a GPS. I've wanted one for a while. I want one primarily for the car, but one that I could take with me too.

I've looked at this one, and I like the bluetooth support. Does anyone have a GPS that they like and recommend?

I am a fan of TomTom. I have the 920T but the new 930 is even better. Look them up.

I bought my wife the TomTom 920 but the mic sounds awful on the other side of the phone connection. It's really bad at freeway speeds. Instead I bought her the the TomTom 720 and then I bought her the Parrot handsfree car kit. I cannot recommend the 920 because of the really bad internal mic and there is no jack for an external mic. However the 720 works great. I highly reccomend the parrot handsfree car kit. The installation was a snap. The unit ships with ISO connectors and in the case of my wife her Mazda 3 has non iso connectors they had a cable kit. So now even if the radio is off the parrot bluetooth box will still come out of the radio... Very cool and costs about 130 bucks.

I got the 720 and have no complaints. Reviews talk about the clutter of the screen, but I like the extra information.

i just got the wife a garmin nuvi 200 and she loves it
