Getting Burnt Out

Hey all if the is in the wrong section please move this thread too the correct place. Here lately I am finding myself getting burnt out on COD 4. Its not that I don't like or anything like that I just can't get into it any more.

I wished we knew what new game that Cain will be adding too the server so I can go buy a copy and get ready for it. right now I'm trying too play DODS as I do like that game very much as there is more team involed in it and I like that.

I tried too get into TF2 but found myself not liking that game as much either. I was hard for too kill players and even though there was team work involed in it I just was not good at it. I hope we here something soon on the next games that will be up coming so I can get them and start practicing.

And Todd, just because Cain isnt running a server for a game doesnt mean we arent playing other games.
GTI still plays 2142, along with others, and a decent amount of us are playing BF2 still. We just need to organize ourselves and play together.

I found that TF2 had a decent size learning curve to it. But once you get into it, the game plays well.

I do prefer DOD:S though. I keep coming back to DOD:S and CS:S every other month, so I'm happy to have a CL server with DOD:S on it.

Its normal to get burnt out on games you play. Its normal to get burnt out on games in general.

It happens. Not sure what the next game is going to be, but if there is one that you have your eye on, post it up! There might be others playing it.

I agree with yea about organizing so we can play together and I know its hard as our schedules just sometimes don't allow for that. It's funny you mentioned BF 2142. I was talking with Major Massacre one day he is trying too get me too reinstall it so we can play again. I really don't venture out much too play on other servers as me & PG love playing here.

I did not get Heroes, Some games that just don't look interesting. It's no big deal I guess I am ready for something new too come along.

I hear you Todd sometimes games get old. Hopefully a good squad based shooter will come out sometime soon. I do kind of get that feeling with DODS because of the flags to cap and the back and forth battles that occur.

One thing is for sure that even if you take a break from gaming you still ahve all your friends here.

Keep playing, Todd. If you get bored do some knifing with Jeffro 74 and I in HC. It's a hoot. We were doing cage match knifing in Vacant last night in that little square outside with water in it. Lewtz and 413 were there, and the guy on your team would be shouting quick commands to egg you on! Was a great change of pace...bodies everywhere!

What's really sad on my part the last 2 times me & PG played i never got over 90 points. I just was feeling bored. I will take a break for a week and see if I can get back into it.
