Lighthouses + stormy seas = awesome vid !

Was working on a teacher's PC on Wednesday when I noticed he had a still picture on his wall of a giant wave crashing into a lighthouse, so I looked it up on the 'Tube and found this:

I'd imagine that most of these are not inhabited lighthouses .. but ... dayam .. can you imagine riding out a violent storm in one in broad daylight ?

Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one man's life could be worth, well I wonder what would happen to this world ? - Harry Chapin

Looks like not all of them are in fact empty of human inhabitants:

I wonder if this was filmed when we had the last European Windstorm. Pretty sure it was around this time and the wind reached 110mph iirc. Was a scary few days i'll tell you that.

It wasn't safe. I was curious too and did some research. Those pictures were taken by a rescue helicopter trying to get those people outta there. I'll try to get my wife to translate the French in the beginning. Unless of course another francophone could do it and post the results. Maybe more info would be forth coming with more stuff to research on.

Having tried many cases I've given up on expensive ones. Not convinced they are significantly better than an inexpensive gel case for 1/10 the money....
