I have a personal teamspeak that I was using with Dark Age of Camelot when I was playing for my guild. Still pay for the darn thing, and various friends from games hop in to it now and again. It only holds 25 people as we never had huge amounts in voice, but if a few people want to log in while they play and bs or whatnot I'll PM you the details. Don't want huge amounts in there though, as I said, it's a 25 person server and there's still 4 or 5 people that use it fairly regularly.

here is the issue guys.

Vent is fun b/c yes you can talk to each other more privately and whatnot, but the problem is if we have vent then you won't be talking to potential CLR's in game. I remember my reason for joining cains lair.... i jumped into bf2 and everybody was talking on voip and i loved every second of it. if somebody jumps into a server and its dead quiet b/c everybody is just talking on vent then they are gonna leave b/c they are bored.

Agreed with you on that point Jeffro. I know people who don't like to run Vent/TS due to the system resources that they take up, especially people playing games on laptops. I have no problems using the game voice systems as long as they have a decent one. As I said with my TS server, it was for using with DAoC (MMO which typically don't include voice).

As I said though, however, if a few people and friends want to use my TS server for the meantime, I'll PM you the information, I don't want it to be filled all the time though, or taking away from communicating with others in game.

The other problem is, that with Vent you're limited to a 8 man server unless you want to pay for licensing, not even sure that a "private" individual can do that, I seem to be remembering them only licensing it out to "corporate partners." With TS you can run a server with as many people as you like for free. Running a server, however, does take a good amount of system resources, and having a good amount of people in voice together can take up a lot of bandwidth, which would be added on top of a game that includes voice as well.
