I would like to hear people's thoughts on what new games they are looking forward to in all genres.

What is coming that sounds interesting and what is the next "must have" game.

A couple of strategy games coming that I'll check out: Fallout 3, Starcraft II, and Comand and Conquer III...but I'll have to make room on my tiny 75 gig raptor raid setup.

I want more God of War style titles. Maybe more cool moves and less "AK47" Seriously, enough with the AK, it gets boring. And I just cannot wait for Bioshock 2! Who doesn't like burning people with a flick, or sending a flock of bees to eat someone's face?

I'm looking forward to Red Alert 3.
I was disappointed with Tiberium Wars, that's the first time I didn't get sucked into a C&C game. I hope they do something different with RA3.

Bioshock II! I'd have to get that as well. Played the first one through a couple of times, being bad, being kind...different perks. Awesome game!

I have a problem with the games coming out today- they arent very open.

I like Sand Box style games, Morrowind + Oblivion, GTA III + VC + SA + IV, and etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions around that type of game?

You know what I wish someone would make? I wish someone would make a sandbox RPG around a Police Officer.

cod5 also looks pretty fun.

the problem is that nothing "revolutionary" has come out in a while in my opinion. i'm so sick of the same ole thing.

AND~ no thanks to COD5. I may begrudgingly play just to be in game with my pals here, but CMON!!!! How many ***** WWII titles can there be??

Basically rehashing what people have said above.

I'm really looking forward to Fallout 3...since oblivion and morrowind were great ('you n'wah!")

Spore could be amazing, same goes for Diablo III.

Lastly, Mass Effect 2! It just better not be short as the first game.

For near-ish term, Fallout 3, Bioshock 2, Half Life 2 Ep 3, Dragon Age, Civ 4: Colonization, and Left 4 Dead. Far Cry 2 and Crysis Warhead are in the next tier. I personally think Spore will be the most over-rated game of all time, with the possible exception of Daikatana (though I wil say Spore will probably be a better game than that piece of garbage).

After that, bring on a new Zelda and Mario game.

Then, longer term, I'm ready for full immersion and thought control. Bring it on.
