I'd like to fix the title of the thread. The misspelling bothers me.
As to topic, since a lot of folks in Mexico seem to go kidnapped fairly often, it's not a bad idea. I think they may want to extend it to Columbia.

The significance of this story is indirect. The underlying conversation is "how long will it be before this technology is used to keep people from illegally entering the US? -- and, is that even legal?"
Personally, I think it is very dangerous practice- in terms of medical practice, I dont think that this can be very healthy.
In terms of tracking illegals.....well....I still think a wall with barbed wire and water cannons would be a great solution.
