So when I bought my rifle I noticed Pelican made a case for it. For 300 bucks the case fit the Remington 700 like a glove. It had extra cut outs for the bi-pod and sling and magazines if you had a Remington PSS police variant. Well the case is rad. it's buoyant with the rifle in it. It's air tight. It has four double hinged locks. Tt has wheels etc... When I upgraded the rifle with the AICS 2.0 stock it didn't fit the case anymore. So I took a steak knife to the case foam and made it fit. The result is ok it just doesn't have that pro look to it. Not being satisfied with my handy work I emailed pelican with

I bought a Gun Cruzer case from you guys for my Remington 700. I love the
case it's awesome. However I have one slight problem. Recently I
upgraded my Remington 700 stock. I'm now the proud owner of a AICS 2.0
stock. The AICS stock is made by Accuracy International. It's a very
distinctive stock used primarily by the military. It's kinda that big bulky
stock. It's completely awesome BTW. My problem is that now my gun
cruzer case dosn't fit my new stock. Yes I modified it myself however my
hand cuts just don't have that "Professional" Look. So I'm emailing you
with a propisition. I'm curious as to two things.
1. If I loaned you my rifle would you be intrested in making a template for
a Remington with a AICS stock. If your intrested in such a thing my (cough
cough) fee would only be a replacment foam piece(in AICS form) for my gun
cruzer.
2. If your not intrested in that what would it cost to ship my rifle to
you and have you make me a new insert in the AICS shape?
3. If you don't do that I guess I'll cry myself to sleep.
