I really hope they don't become like this other case that happened where this girl, drowned into a coma at age 3, and was just thrown into a bed until she wakes up or dies because the family saw some statues of Jesus leaking oil.

Even for those that are extremely religious, you have to ask why would god do that to someone.

I've seen a lot of kids in heart breaking situations that make everything that I've gone through w/ my son look like a cake walk but yet most don't look at themselves any differently.

Those are not always the cause, everyone carries genetic code, this code can be translated in many ways by dividing cells.

It could just be a genetic flaw that worked into one of the famlies 100's of years back.

Or also what happens when cells divide, the correct 'marker' was not set on the strand or was not set at all.

We carry code to give us wings, fins, and lots of other stuff, just our 'blueprint' never asks the cells to set those markers.

Cell's splitting and going a lil oppsie happens to everyone, some you don't see it, some you do, and some well its more obvious.

There is an update on this girl

There is a video in a news network showing her current situation. I have seen this story before, and though indeed it is sickening to look at, the girl seems to have developed normally mentally. She communicates through sign language due to her obvious disability, and looks like she can read and write like a normal child. It seems though, she is doomed to be the elephant man of our generation.
