Yes...Another Concert!

As most of you know, I went to the 3 Doors Down concert last weekend with girl #3, Mya.

Well this weekend I'm going to the Bob Dylan concert here in San Diego, at the Qualcomm Stadium!

I'm going with a few buddies and some of their co-workers. Just giving you all a heads up and I will post pics in the photo threads when I get back.

Two concerts in two weekends. Yikes! I went from not ever seeing one to going to two. Big news for me!

Who knows, I might meet my girl #4 there. lol!

Sounds like I should plan out a roadtrip...But sorry to say, I'll be Vegas from the 21st to Dec. 1st. Friends 21st B-Day and I promised her 8 months ago I'd go.

Sadly I'm not a fan of metallica, but my roommate keeps mentioning it. I'd rather go see Nightwish or Chris Cornell. Hell I'd even go see Bon Jovi since I love all his songs.

I went to see Ashes Divide in downtown Portland in a small bar (of course since I'm 18 I had to sit in the young peoples section). They were good, but I learned one thing... not a big fan of concerts. The guitar and bass are too strong. I barely could hear the singer, and I guess it's always like that. I love to listen to music to hear the words and find what the song is about. I never really liked guitar solos... except for Bon Jovi's Wanted: Dead or Alive. I can get 100% easily on expert on Rockband on that song because I played it so much lol

The problem was the bar. Most of those places don't have very good sound systems for live music in my experience. If you go somewhere that has a proper setup (few bars around here do) you get a much better experience with hearing the singer. Concerts are set up so that you hear the singer as well as the music, they have their own sound setups, and you can guarantee that a band doesn't want any part of their performance not to be heard, bad business.
