I have a model similar to this. It is an Altec Lansing with surround sound. It really does allow you to hear from which direction someone is coming.

I have these, and have had them for a few months now. They do the job well! No complaints yet.

Anything from Altec Lansing will be great... I've got both their 2.1 speakers and mic/headset combo and both work great!

Nephew, I got the Zalman surround sound headphones with the lapel mic that came with it and it's a little steep on price but works great. Like the guys said above, you really can't go wrong with Altec Lansing.

I'd still drop the extra $10 on the altec lansings that apache posted... it's almost identical to the ones that I have, and i've gotta tell you that they have survived being stopmed on, triped over, and having the cables chewed up on by the cats.... And they still sound and work great.

im trying to decide between the altec lansing and the sennheiser..

the thing i dont like about the altec lansing is the customer reviews.. they're saying its extremely uncomfortable.

Hum, they must be wearing them around their waist then! Mine are padded w/ a self-adjusting headband so they don't sit too high, or too low. I can shake them around on my head and they fall right back into that perfect spot every time. Granted they feel a bit heavy, but not by a whole lot.

Well, I plan to get these Skull Candy Earphones/Headset. I believe they are called SkullCrushers. It is mainly a earphone, but there is a pecial one they sell that has a mic too. I dont use these skullcrushers because it is 70 but i bought the 30 dollar skull candys (no mic, just in-ear buds) and wow. You hear bullets as if they are whizzing past the back of your head. Just plain amazing. Not better than Bose though =P

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
