I agree with you fiery in a way. The mass media is a bunch of bullcrap, but if we aren't "reminded" of this day, we do forget who we are and what we represent.
September 10th here were hardly any flags.
September 12th there was a flag on nearly every house.
And I agree as well vito. I was in 6th grade when this happened. I had no clue what a terrorist was or what was going on that day in School. What was for lunch was more on my mind.
The next year we had a moment of silence on this day. Ever since we haven't done jack except maybe mention "Oh hey it's September 11th"
This was supposibly a bigger hit on us than Pearl Harbor, which was claimed the biggest attack against the US. We should always remember that we are still standing after that day and are not broken.
