anyone else gas price in your location suddenly gooooooooes so high today?

good thing i filled it up full on thursday. it was 3.49 but right now the cheapest one i can find is 4.29 89c up on one day.

Minerva, gas prices in Spain are cheap in comparison to Germany.
1 liter costs about 25 Cent more where I live!

On my holiday trip I refilled right before the Spanish border and made another stop in Luxembourg.
No one buys gas in France as well these days...

I agree, but.. Isn't your "renta per capita" higher? All I know is that it cost me almost 80 euros to fill my tank

It's jumped a ton over the past few days. I've been on vacation in Disney (report later this weekend?), and I'm on the way back home to Maryland, so I'll be able and curious to see how prices change along the way. The Southeast has gotten hammered the past 4-5 days because of Ike-related closures, and the supply is drying up down here. I don't think they'll know the damage until later today or sometime tomorrow, but it's possible this will continue for a while if the refineries took a big hit.

All I know is that I have a pretty fuel-efficient Corolla, and in between fillings while in the Land of the Mouse, prices went up 40 cents/gallon.

I filled up my wife's car and my truck on Thursday for $3.46 a gallon. I filled my son's truck up Friday morning for the same. Friday Afternoon I saw one station had gas at $4.98. Everyone seems to hate the price of gas wherever they live but, I think Europe has it the worst. Of course their taxes are higher.

I sympathise Minerva, it costs me around ?80. Fortunately I have been working within a 50 mile radius of home the past few months but I got some big journeys coming up soon so I may be back to a tank of fuel A DAY

like average income in US is like $2500 per month and in asia (indonesia) it's like $500 per month

all in all, gas price is ridiculous, the profit gas company made last quarter is liek 30 billion dollars. maybe they just think they not making enough profit and wants some more....

I just filled everything except my boat @ $3.49. I heard ion the radio that the hurricane could cause a spike so i figured WTH. Unfortunately the marine gas is still $4.79 so I'll take my chances on that. I do know that the prices across the pond are much higher so I won complain too much. Heck come on over and I'll give you a ride in my boat.
