It's Everquest! Who plays that still? It's not the most popular game anymore and that would explain why people still exercise, etc. Less popular games so they do not get addicted.
I'm not bashing us hardcore gamers but these guys need more variety than just one game, online or not!

I doubt it's the same for WoW. People play that game non stop. When I started I met a dude that was lvl 1. We were doing quests together and got to lvl 10 together very slowly until I had to go, took about 3-4 hours of non stop playing... and I was pooped for the day.
After that, I log in the next morning... he's lvl 27 and claimed to be playing all night long. I than asked, after he reached lvl 49 about 3-4 days after, I asked "how do you level so fast". He said "well I don't have a job".
There's no way people that play WoW like that, and there are a LOT of them, that could be considered physically fit. It seems to me this study was taken from A gamer vs a fast food eater.
However...

This is true. I played a lot of video games to escape my problems. Little did it help, and it just made me even more pissed off when I would fall for scams or get my account stolen in D2. I remember spending about a month, 3 hours everyday, trying to afford enigma and botd in D2. The day after I got it, I fell for a scam and lost that account. It broke my addiction to the game thankfully, but it made me pretty pissed off and held a grudge against online gamer scammers.

"Hey, I can't get a job, I have to study for school"
"Then WTF are you doing on WoW?"
I dont know what you're talking about. I can vent alot of anger and depression into COD4 sniping and get at huge ammount of happiness in return because you cant take back an epic headshot after you do it

The problem with surveys like this is that people lie. It says they quizzed, so basically they asked without actually making sure the answers are true. Im willing to bet most people would put in that they are in better shape then they really are if they are out of shape.
Yea, im not saying a lot of gamers are out of shape. I am actually a scrawny white boy. I do do physical activity though so I am in decent shape. The main point is that people lie so you need to make sure they arent lying just to get the staff.
I've been Alpha and will be Beta testing the Delta Force game. It's been really getting good reviews! Definitely a good Battlefield feel to it like the...
