    Affordable standards of control.

    Mapes-

The token system is in effect on many of the top networks in the country already. I have one that I plug into my laptop at work that automatically pulls out the highest quality network in my environment that is public and secures it for my work.

Based on the same premise, the securing of said network would be no different than securing said predator.

Like I said, I am not in a position to share everything in here, but we have ways of mandating usage and then exploiting the creature of habit to insure compliance. Like Rye said in support of my first statement: humanity is a creature of habit. Its in our DNA for survival- we adapt to overcome obstacles but exploit rewarding habits.

It would be much easier for me to have the death penalty discussion if someone could show me that there was an actual reform system in place. Right now it's just a holding tank or University for criminals....

OK, first of all, do you know how long those 414 have been waiting for execution? I say at LEAST 6 or 10 years. The system does not do it fast enough. Apeal, apeal, and then apeal again should not be so easy. And if that 1 innocent person gets executed while he is innocent then I would rather him die than releasing 413 killers to kill even more. "Once a killer, always a killer" And researches show it. And don't forget 414 is a small number when you have thousnads of killers loose.

I have to say I think this is the stupidest piece of legislation ever introduced. Using something as dynamic as an email address to try and track them is useless.

Firstly the sex ed comment was irony at the McCain ad. However personally I think the money would be best spent teaching youngsters how to avoid these people. Thats what I'm trying to say.

As for the token system dude I have worked testing IPSec for 6 years man. I know what I'm talking about. Whats to stop them from using another computer? The reason your tunnel works is because your a willing participant.

As for the death penalty I'm against it. The way I see it there have been many cases where witnesses have recanted. Death ..I don't know ...seems kinda like denying someone due process.

            related, in a way...

This I post because it is current, regarding the death penalty...though not regarding sexual crimes. This is a case in which I agree with the death penalty, as it would be a shame to spend tax payer's dollars to keep this person, who has no regard for the existing societal system or the lives within it, alive. I feel that people have a right to make mistakes, within reason, but when one's judgment is poor enough that the mistake involves taking the life of or sexually violating another, they do not deserve another chance to again make the same mistake. There is no excuse for such acts. For the animal in this link, I say good riddance.

That's exactly what I'm saying. He commited his crime 6 and a half years ago... and excuted now? That is simply a waste of taxx payer money.

yes, and to anyone who thinks that the death penalty is "cruel and unusual" it has been happening FROM THE START OF TIME!!!!! and why not just give someone a MASSIVE morphine overdose and that way no one can claim that ANY pain is induced

I don't really know the particulars of this case. However we cannot deny people they're due process just because it's easier cheaper to kill them. Thats kinda a frightening thought.

I'm just saying do it faster.
                    1. Kill someone
                    2. In prison, NO BAIL
                    3. In a week start trial
                    4. Finish the trial in less than 2 weeks, it's easy, either did or did NOT.
                    5. Appeal
                    6. Fail at appeal
                    7. After a day or 2, Hang, electricute, or slap them to death, whichever is faster.

And if I do kill someone, I wish they would do it that way... get me outta my misery faster.

Have you actually served on a jury? these things take time. I feel very strongly about this. It is not worth an innocent mans life to rush these things.

I think sex offenders should be forced to wear a bright orange shirt with black letters that says "I am a sex offender" on it. With their ID Number The area code where they live and their local police station Phone number. And for winter... Winter jackets of the same type !!

I like your idea on the colored plates. Never thought about that before. I think they should make every convicted felon have their own special plate. And with the color code.. it will let the cop know what he is dealing with before he even gets out of the car.

Some situations require strict punishments... mass/serial murderer's for example. Obviously after the first death (unless they are within a minuet or two of each other) they had time to think about their actions and decided to do it again. Now, it can be argued that the person may not be in good mental health, but most times these people don't break out of this thought process when given therapy and mind altering drugs (anti-depressants for example).

Sure punishments can be strict but, due process of law ...that is the deciding of guilt must run it's course and not be held to a time table. As I said before the killing of an innocent man is a horrible thought.

well, here in CA, more people die WAITING for the death penalty than actually getting it....
