I think I'm paranoid... again

Alright well I'm about to go see a doctor after I get home from work, but I'd like to know what all you've that experienced this would have to say.

Well I've been violently sick over the week. Coughing out blood on Tuesday, severe headaches and fever on Wednesday. Severe coughing on Thursday and Friday.... Now today on Saturday whenever I cough or take a crap I feel a somewhat severe pain in my bottom right side, where supposedly the appendix is located.

I've had 2 friends that have had theirs taken out. 1 of them just had the severe pain, the other got violently sick and than felt the severe pain.

Could this be a sign that I'm the next one to get this thing taken out of me? It only hurts when I cough or "use the bathroom". Other times it doesn't really feel like anything is there...

I dunno if anyone here is qualified to completely diagnose that. If there's pain and blood though, it's always a good idea to see the doctor.

When one uses the phrase "I've got blood coming out my <blank>" it should immediately be followed by "I think I shall consult a a physician".

Seriously, what kind of person coughs up blood and goes on as though that were nothing to worry about. Maybe if you had Ebola, or a known bleeding ulcer or something, but if this is the first time?

Since you ignored us the last time you asked for medical advice here, you probably won't listen this time, but GO TO A DOCTOR.

I'd like you to see a counselor. You seem like a nice guy, but you have a worried heart, and it may be good for you.

In all seriousness, see a doctor, then see a counselor and open your heart and get it all out without embellishing.

It will do you some good.

I did go to the doctor. Not what I thought, but the coughing out blood was from my throat. I've had a severe sore throat and I guess it was cut. As for my emotional distress... It's all being worked out.

I'm just a guy that wants to rule the world.

Anyways, I'm fine, got some medications and am limited to eating and drinking certain things.

I hope you feel better soon DA. When I was younger I never went to the doctor either eventually you will realize that going sooner will not onle help you heal faster it will also relieve you stress.

Yeah, I still have the go to the Dr. problem too.
I still have the mentality I grew up with that unless I'm holding my arm because it's been cut off, I don't need to go to the ER and as long as I haven't coughed up one lung I don't' need to go to the Dr.

I'm working on that but, definitely when it's something like coughing up a good amount of blood I'll go.

when I said coughing up blood I meant like a bloody loogee (how do you spell that), not like coughing out blood as if I just got shot or my heart exploded. It reminded me of why Jack Nicholson had to go to the hospital in the Bucket List
