I have lots of friends who are big F1 fans. I'm more of a stock car racing fan because I was a crew member for a friend years back. Race fans are very particular to their brand of racing . F1, NASCAR, Drag Racing etc.. I'm not sure why though.

F1 is big in the U.S. Just not as big as NASCAR. I like the rally type races better myself. Going fast and turning left gets old for me after a while.

We enjoy a good open whell race too but mainly we're a "rednecks turning left" crowd.

              Jeff Gordon FTW!

Jeff Gordon FTW! Montoya too. Got a good car right right now, but he's really unlucky at being in accidents. Gilliland should be suspended for the rest of the season minimum if you ask me.

I would think F1 isn't as big in the US because there are no US F1 races.

The only North American race (I think) is the one we have here in Montreal. And this year, there is a strong chance that the race won't happen (or ever again).

The creator of the Cirque du Soleil has jumped on board in a bid to try and save the race here..
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
