I would think F1 isn't as big in the US because there are no US F1 races.
The only North American race (I think) is the one we have here in Montreal. And this year, there is a strong chance that the race won't happen (or ever again).
The creator of the Cirque du Soleil has jumped on board in a bid to try and save the race here..[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
