So for the last two weeks ending on last Friday, a co-worker was sitting on the jury for a major case of sexual assault, with a felony involved because one of the victims committed suicide.
This recently convicted guy was answering the ads on Craigslist, the girls would show up, he'd confiscated the phone, wallet and etc. of the girls, tell them that he knew where they lived know, could call their friends and then ask them to meet him so he could kill them, or even worse, call the people in their phone and tell them all that this girl was a prostitute.
He'd then assault them, beat them badly and then drive them to a unpopulated area and drop them off- often without even stopping the car.
He was convicted of 4 counts, one victime refused to testify, and one victim comitted suicide after speaking to the police.
They only had 9 victims, but they believe that this guy (mid twenties) had been doing this for awhile because he was so good at what he was doing.
I wonder if this case has anything to do with it.
BTW- they gave him over 200 years in prison and his first possibility for parole is in 20 because he is a second strike sex offender.Comment
