Will Asimov’s Foundation saga be Lord of the Rings in space? - SFFMedia
And someone is working on The End of Eternity as well:
Asimov’s The End of Eternity follows Foundation adaptation - SFFMedia
Not sure that I can say I'm pleased following up on I, Robot and the Bicentennial Man. I, Robot was fun for what it was, but it raped the book, and Bicentennial Man was just horrible any way you look at the movie. Asimov isn't known as much for his action, as his ability to keep things moving with discussions, talk, descriptions of things. Foundation does have a good deal of action, but there's also a lot of sitting around and description of past events and whatever, so I'll be interested to see how close to true they can keep a movie based off the book.
