I do as well. But my wife loves them. She's had her first one for over a year and will never be going back to desktops. She also used to game (UT, mmos,..) but has moved on to other hobbies and thus doesn't require any high end video and gaming capabilities, thus we can afford standard laptops.

I love my laptop except for the fact that I cant really upgrade it myself since I dont wanna mess with the insides of a laptop.
