I have a Dell XPS and the only problem I have run into is the complete inability to connect wirelessly. Tried 2 different cards and at least 15 hours with tech support. (Dell, MS & Linksys) I finally just moved the router and ran a hard wire to it.
Dude I had bought a refurbed XPS M1530. I had the same problem. I could see the WLANs just not connect to em. I used the dell support chat. The support was great. The nice thing about the IM was it was easy to understand each other. The support rep wanted to load a remote control package...that was ok by me. I was able to show em the problem. they even wanted to check my wifi router. I was like uhhhh sure but, It's a 5k$ enterprise system....They poked around for a while and then said oh it's a bad card. we're sending you a A/B/G wifi card overnight for free. which was cool because I only had an B/G and my AP's can do A which no one uses in my neighborhood. Total time was like 40 minutes
[QUOTE=Pumpkin_Jack;105935]Dell sucks bad, although i gotta say that was a wrong choice to buy from best buy. I have had many problems with that fricken store, expecialy when it comes to there warrenties.[/QUOTE
