Actually from my own experiences with online pals and a couple family friends...4ghz is reachable and stable with air as long ad you have the proper HS and flow though the case. I will attempt 4ghz in a few days time and run some extensive stress testing. I'll let u know how it turns out

Hahaa ... a challenge !!! Let me introduce you to OCCD and we will see if that thing will pull 4ghz with that running.

A buddy if mine thinks my vid card might bottleneck the power if the CPU. Do u think it will?? I mean my card is still a pretty good contender with recent cards

          In a word ... yes.

Do you care ? You really shouldn't. The 8800GTX has been the only card that kept its performance crown for well over 2 years (!!!) so that in itself shows just how far ahead of the pack it was (and that Nvidia had no competition from ATI, hence no need to put out a newer card).

I'm glad you have the GTX, and it still retains a considerable amount of money if you can sell it off ($100+) and put that towards a GTX260 216sp card, which is a good buy for around $150, or spend the extra and get the fantastic ATI 4890 1gb for $200.

I realize you didn't want to hear that news, but there are only a few games that will slow down the GPU side of things, so if you don't play them, its not worth the expense to upgrade the card just yet.

Well I did some reading last night and found that the frequency I see in CPU-Z is not actual and u need to double it just like normal so actually I was running at 1066 which is correct as that is what ASUS defaults it to. So I went into Bios and made a slight adjustment and got it up to 850mhz which is 1700. So I am happy with that. What us a safe range for my NB frequency?? It was at 3200mhz last time I looked...is that too high?
