    Mouse Clicking Errors

I'm having problems clicking things on my desktop and in some applications. It's not the kind that happens when you have a low battery.

    Vista
    Rocketfish 2.4 ghz wireless mouse
    Fresh batteries.

Its like I'm not clicking at all, and it doesnt recognize the dbl click at all.
But then when I do it again, so now 4 clicks, its all good.

Happens in games sometimes too- where I click to shoot and I only fire one shot instead of a burst with the machine gun...

    any ideas?

Hmmm drivers....or maybe check the mouse control panel thingy and try different settings...

I would also say drivers. I have experimented both the default windows drivers and most up to date ones on a logitech mx 700 wireless mouse.

I found that the default windows drivers made the mouse pointer pause on screen frequently and the hourglass would appear along side the pointer.

It is better to get latest drivers.

        Drivers were up to date.
The thing was just simply dieing.
I just ran down and got a corded mouse.

sidewinder X5 -- it was on sale

Kinda cool actually, you can assign a button to turn 180 degrees in a game.
Does gaming profiles so that you can auto assign macros for tedious games (such as single players).
