MY Old Computer parts Opinion

Hi guys,

I was not sure which part of the Forum to post this if it in the wrong place place move it ok let me get straight to point of this thread.

A CLR member who I will not name who lives in the uk was going to buy what is left of my old rig for the ?230 and now he thinks he's was not get a fair Deal, So hear a List of the old part still in the case.

Floppy Drive
Intel Q6600 Quad Core 2.4 GHZ Cpu
2 Gig Corsair DDR 2 6400 800 MHZ Memory
WD 250 gig HD
Nvida XFX 260 XXX 192 Core Graphic card (Card 4 Month old)
Asus P5N-D 750i Motherboard
Coolermaster Centurion Case
Brand New 800 watt Psu

So guys would you say it was a fair price for the parts Plz I would love your Views and Opinion.

PS the only Parts I did remove from my old rig was the Blu-Ray Writer and Dvd Rom and 2 T1 HD.

The video card and processor alone is prolly worth $300 if there in good shape.. Maybe a little less because they are used and its a private sell off but the other parts make it worth more then $300 easy..

But than again, How much dust is the case sucking, did you OC the GPU and CPU? What kind of temps did the GPU, and CPU idle/peak at regularly..

Ok, gotta ask. Why would you sell that system for 230? We both know that it is worth much more then that. Unless any of the parts are dead/dieing. Also, why in the world does it have a regular floppy drive? Unless by floppy drive you mean a media card reader (SD, HDSD...ect...ect...).

The reason I'm selling it so cheap is because its just take up space in my computer/office.

My opinion is that I wont speak about anyone in my community indirectly, as this thread is simply self serving bait to bad mouth someone who is anonymous.

Whatever your problem is, you either should work it out or part ways.
I'm not really into the drama regarding this situation as not only was I not there, but I dont have the whole story- only your side.

If you have an issue, being that we dont openly buy or sell items in Cains Lair, you need to resolve that problem outside of this community.

He's not bad mouthing any one. Granted he didn't need to tell us the back story but, he didn't say the guy was an ass or an idiot he just said they disagreed on a price list.

As for an update on the parts the CLR member as read the post and decided He/She is getting a Great Deal for the price which it helps my Fellow CLR Member out and he can get rid of is old P4.
