Alright, here are two short previews:

The first one was just an experiment with the same 2d to 3d technique I used for the WaW screenshot.

The second one uses the Trapcode Particular plug-in to create those spore-like things. The part where the music plays uses AE's ability to convert the audio into x, y, and z values to create an animation that follows the song.

All in all, it comes to around ~4 hours of work, but I really love the effects, and as the descriptions say, I am planning on making a complete video.

I have Vegas 6, it's what I use for compiling the video and adding sound.

Here's one of the last previews before I release it (won't be for at least a week) and it got me thinking, instead of just making a personal montage, I could make a montage of clips from Cain's Lair players. Only Critique i have is it sounds weird swiching from the cainlair tunnel, to the red thing, maybe a little more subtle sound change.
Other than that sick, And the people playing against the shotty dude are horrible....
