    Need a new mouse.....

Well after over 2000 hours of gaming on my mouse, it has finally died. Can anyone suggest a new mouse for under $70 with 7+ buttons and DPI adjustment on the fly (up to 2500+ DPI)? Newegg or frys links would be appreciated.

A vote for the MX518. I got mine at Target for $30. Gets good reviews and wears well.

All three look great. But if you find one that has over 2000 DPI it would be even better.

I'm quite happy with my G5.
Though my old MX518 had a better price/value.

              The G5 has 2000.

Looked at that sidewinder in a store... played around with it for a few moments... felt akward in my hand.... too many angles on it made it rough to play with...

I have the G5 and I think its on newegg for under 50 bucks (I spent more at BB )

It goes to 2000 dpi and the on the fly adjustment is really nice, there are 3 levels you can set it to and adjust in-game with the buttons on the mouse.

The mouse feels good in your hand and it also has weights (which I think aren't that big of a deal) you can change in/out

The neatest innovation with the G5 is the actual USB cord - it's coated with a fabric sheath of some sort, that way the cord doesnt get snagged on the corner of your desk (like my old logitech used to)

The mouse wheel is quiet when it scrolls and the extra buttons (two near thumb) and the wheel has the standard press function PLUS a tilt left/right function which is different.

I'm using the mouse with a standard fabric mousepad and it works very very well.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
