Hi Trooper, thanks for the input...sorry for snappin' at you like that. I'm just frustrated, because I need my computer for my business, and I'm trying to cut corners

But IF I DO get a Video Card there' a Memorial Day special on this one:

      Newegg.com - ASUS EN9400GT GeForce 9400 GT 1GB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Is it a decent replacement for my 6800 GT?

Hey Tony, just to be sure, the 6800 line did come in AGP flavors, so are you running a PCI-E version, or an AGP one?

The PCI-E one. When it FIRST came out it's an eVGA brand. Good quality brand. Installed on my ASUS SLI Deluxe Dual PCI E M Board.

                While we are on graphics.

What causes long distance shimmer in objects. Say if we were playin Seelow, and I was snipin and lookin from one end of the map through the tunnel to the other end I get a shimmer(looks like water) in some of the objects down there.

                Anybody got a clue.

Evil Tony did you say this was an EVGA card? If it is, did you register it? if the answer to both the questions is yes then you should contact EVGA.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
