    NCIX is a SCAM

Well on 05/22 I received a UPS that I bought from NCIX. The minute I plugged it in it started clicking like crazy. THe clicking stopped but everytime the power went out the UPS did not do its job. Last week it started to constantly reboot my system.

I talked with NCIX Tech Support, and they told me they would replace it and open an RMA request. So yesterday I get an email saying my RMA was declined. This company is a scam and I hereby suggest you never use them!!

On what reason did they refuse? Surely refusing to recieve a broken item under RMA will break some form of law? At least in the first month. Or did they recieve it then refuse to replace?

Friends of mine build entire systems and such using NCIX only. First time I've heard of issues.

I'd call them and pursue it, as Juneau said, if its within a month and the piece is defective, they surely can't say no
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.

I have bought thousands of dollars of stuff from NCIX without a problem, RMAing anything. What reason did they give for not taking this product back.their prices have always been better than Newegg I would recomend them to anyone.

I've never heard of NCIX. I've only used APC for the last 15 or so years.

The USP only has a 30 day warranty? I'm wondering if NCIX only accepts things back within the first month. Then they pass it on to the manufacturer.

Which if the case is completely illegal if Canada is anything like the UK. Some UK stores like to try and do this also.

Tell them to stuff it. Your sales agreement is with the supplier, not the manufacturer.

                      Yep same here.

Oh I get it. You talked to the retail store. So let me get this straight.

                      1. You bought a UPS
                      2. The Retailer has a 30 day warranty exchange period.
                      3. Your UPS went bad after 30 days
                      4. You have not talked to the manufacturer of the UPS about their 1 year warranty.
                      5. And your mad ...why?...

                      I don't get it.

I bought the item online, it goes bad and when I actually get time to put in the RMA request, it is 32 days later. They tell me deal with manufacturer. Which I have sent request in with but the point being is that NCIX customer service is horrible if they make a deal over 2 days. Like Juneau said....my sales agreement is with them not the manufacturer

NCIX sounds like they are dropping the ball a bit but the problem really seems to be the hardware. Have you called them yet? I would think a company that makes a UPS would want to support its products.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
