    Not exactly excited about it. And for sure first 5 years is not going to be gamer platform...

        Says its not coming out until second half of 2010 ? That's quite a while when you factor in the internet timeframe (its like dog years - 1 year equals 7 online).

          So by the time it comes out we will be on Windows 8 or 9

            From what I've read they're not going after gaming or high end computers anyway. This appears to be targeted mainly at netbooks as a solution that provides security, speed, and guaranteed compatibility with applications that run online.

              It could work. After 20+ years of microsoft's comedy of errors, it may be a relief.
