    Firefox 3.0.11 problems

Anybody having trouble with this latest version of Firefox. Since I upgraded I've been having trouble with browser requests when sent and gmail says that another instance of the mail app is running from this browser and tries to open again.

Dunno what all this is about but I didnt have any trouble with the last version. Anybody else having any problems?

Man, hope they have a hotfix out soon. I have to run gmail in html mode just for it to work. The bad browser requests are worse though. Seems like its always missing something in the request line. "sigh"

Ummm, I don't know what you guys are talking about, but the latest version of Firefox is 3.5.1

I use 3.5.1 as well. A faster browser for sure.

They're both running an older build of the old version. I'm using 3.0.12.

below 3.0.12 i had those issues too, i'd be logged out of the forums here too on occasion, so must be a cookie issue in those versions.

If you want to keep the line your on, update to .12

the one i use now 3.5.1 got no issues with that, so far not encountered anything odd.

How is 3.5 behaving now? Seemed as though there were quite a few nasty bugs in the first build.

I did 3.5 a while back and it had so many bugs I had to do a system restore to get back in the ballgame. I upgraded to 3.0.12 and it didnt help much. Dunno what the problem is.

Maybe my firewall is actin up. All I know is that I cant go from one webpage to the next without the browser missing something in the request line. Sometimes separators , sometimes colons. I dont know what the thing is doin. Random error messages. You name it, and it has done it.

3.5.1 i've not encountered anything thats hindering etc.
                    3.5 was the same.

Guess I just use the browser how it was designed to be used

I've had no issues with Firefox 3.5 or 3.5.1 on either of my home desktops running XP, my laptop running Vista 64, or my computer at work running XP with god know what kind of firewalls and I know that I have to set up for a proxy.

Haven't had any issues whatsoever, and I've seen a performance jump on every system after upgrading from 3.0.x, whatever the last version I was using when 3.5 came out was.

Ok, I downloaded 3.5.1 and it too is having the same issues. But, I tried running IE and got a bad request error on it too. So that leaves me to believe there is something going on with my system that I'm not aware of.

I cant think of anything that would hinder things from not working right. I disabled my firewall and still the same thing. So now I dont know what to think of next. Maybe you guys can come up with something I'm missing.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
