    new EVGA GTX275!

I just got a new EVGA GTX275 for $160 after rebate. Here is the link in case anyone is interested in getting one: Frys. You have to do in-store pickup.

Anyway, before this, I had one of the 8800GTS 320MB cards. The automatic fan functionality didn't work, so I had to use Rivatuner to control the fan. Is this still the case with these newer NVIDIA/EVGA cards? Also, has anyone tried the new EVGA utility for OCing?

I'm pretty sure that they do alter the fan speed. The fan speed thing in the G80 series cards was fixed. However you had to update the cards bios.

I have the same card for my son new build When I test it out it seemed to adjust the fan speed itself, but if I was you just to be safe use Rivaturner or the EVGA Precision software to set the fan speed to how you want it.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
