    Back again

    Okay so the last time I was here, I told you all about my situation.

    Basically, long story short: My internet is not working when I have a connection and everything is working.
    I have checked, checked, and rechecked my windows firewall. And any other firewall.

    I have googled it and I cant seem to find anything?

    Does anyone know of ANYTHING I can try to resolve my problem?
    I really don't want to reformat. I have to many important things on my computer.

    Burn files to disc.... then reinstall. Can't be that hard.

    Let me go look for your other post.

    Ahh ok i see. You got infested by viruses/trojans etc and it messed up your registry and origianl files etc. Did you try the Repair option that was suggested?

      Get a USB drive or DVD-R and copy stuff over then c:FORMAT!

        Before you do anything go here and dowload it and install....Make sure you up date it and then run a full scan and see what it finds.Its free and it works good.Download version 1.41

          Sounds like your boned. Back everything off to a usb key and re install

            Would backing everything I want/need to a external HD work?

              Depends how much you need to back up. Just use a DVDR or 2 if that's enough space.

                USB key, DVD, External HD, floppy disks, whatever. Chose the medium that bets fits the amount of data you want to backup, then reformat your PC.
                [this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
